What is logging in and logging out? :your settings and information are in a locked room that can only be opened by you. you open this "door" by typing in your username (your internet nickname) and your password (the key). this process is called "logging in". When you are done changing your settings and information and want to leave, it is usaly a good idea to lock the door. this process is called logging out. if you are not logged in for awhile, we will lock the door for you, but it is a good idea to loggout every time someone else will use your computer.
